The Danish Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation, which
is responsible for government policy on universities, research,
innovation, IT, telecomunication and internationalisation of
education, supports the Sino-Danish Center.
Chinese Partners
The Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (GUCAS) was founded in 1978 by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (founded in 1949). GUCAS is the graduate university that educates master and PhD students for research positions at more than 100 CAS institutes in China. GUCAS is headquartered in Beijing, where it runs four university campuses and has branches in Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Lanzhou. GUCAS has 36,000 students where half are PhD students.
CAS is the national academy for natural sciences, technology and high-tech innovation in China. The headquarter of CAS is located in Beijing.
