How to collaborate with SDC
SDC is open and flexible when it comes to collaboration with companies operating in China. It is expected that, as the MSc programmes and research activities develop, new and hitherto unidentified areas of collaboration will materialize. However, based on preliminary discussions with Danish companies active in China, the following types of collaboration have been highlighted:
- Joint research between company labs and university labs including joint applications for research funding
- Contract research where university labs undertake assignments on behalf of a company
- Branding via student competitions and stipends
- Company exhibitions at in the House of Danish Industry Foundation.
- Internships and thesis collaboration
- Providing empirical material for students and researchers
- Training programmes for employees in Danish companies
Industry Advisory Board
The importance of close links to the industry is also
reflected in the establishment of an Industry Advisory Board. The
Board will advise SDC management on strategic issues related to
industry collaboration and be instrumental in creating a network of
companies connected to SDC. The board will be constituted in 2011
and have 10 members (5 selected by the Danish side and 5 selected
from the Chinese side).
