Opinions were many when experts discussed how foreign researchers working in China can and should protect their research results. But no one would testify to the title of the seminar. In fact, Flemming Besenbacher, iNANO, argued that it is dangerous not to take your research to China. The more than 50 scholars and administrators who participated in the seminar at DTU on 1 December 2011 took home helpful and thought provoking insights regarding university related intellectual property rights (IPR) and collaboration with Chinese partners.  The seminar featured two experts on IPR and China - Thomas Pattloch, Taylor Wessing and Ulrike Tagscherer, Chinese Academy of Sciences - as well as three Danish senior scientists with extensive experiences from collaboration with Chinese partners. The seminar was organized by TECH-TRANS, Danish Innovation Center, Shanghai and SDC.
